What are the most difficult questions you deal with?

Dear Julian,

I think the most difficult questions I deal with are ones where I can feel the writer’s resentment within the question. I know that often people who write me assume that all Israelis support the occupation, but for me, being asked a question, and responding to the answer they assume I’ll give within one sentence is problematic. I mean, either write what you think of us and ask if its correct, or just ask for my opinion, don’t assume you know my opinion and respond to it while pretending to ask a question. Hopefully I succeeded in explaining myself…

All the best,
