Response Policy

FaS encourages participants to ask about any topic they see fit. Sadly there are certain things that we will be unable to respond to. These include:

  • Anything relating to operational information of IDF activities or units. As such, names/numbers, equipment, and organizational makeup of IDF units are included in this category. It is FaS policy not to disclose sensitive information about the IDF that could endanger the lives of soldiers in the field.
  • Anything not written in question form.
  • Questions containing profanity or any otherwise foul language.

Other than that, all emails will a recieve a response, no matter how controversial!

Reserve Duty:

The situation on the ground in the Middle East is ever-changing, and in times of crisis, many Israeli citizens are called back to the military. In the event that the soldier you have written to is currently in reserve duty, you will receive an email notifying you that your response may take an extended period of time. If you get such a response, feel free to ask another soldier the same question, or simply wait for that soldier to return from active duty.

Thank you!

We would like to thank our generous donors for their support of the project over the past years.
